Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign an annual renewal contract via DocuSign between the County of Modoc and the Modoc County Children and Families Commission for the purpose of administering the Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention Program (CBCAP) and Child Abuse Prevention Intervention Program (CAPIT), not to exceed $40,000.00, effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
2. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a contract between the County of Modoc and Last Frontier Healthcare District, dba Modoc Medical Center for Behavioral Health Crisis Services and Supports Program within Modoc Medical Center's Emergency Department, not to exceed $60,000.00 per fiscal year and shall not exceed $180,000.00 for the entire term, effective July 1,2026 through June 30,2029.
3. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign an annual contract via DocuSign between the County of Modoc and Regents of the University of California on behalf of Davis Campus Continuing and Professional Education for training services, not to exceed $124,095.00, effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
4. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a recurring contract between the County of Modoc and Crestwood Behavioral Health, Inc., for 24-hour skilled nursing services for the treatment and observation of mental illness or other related behavioral disorders, not to exceed $150,000.00, effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
5. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a contract via DocuSign between the County of Modoc and Community Services Solutions (CSS) for In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) quality assurance and program integrity services, not to exceed $97,674.00, effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
6. Requesting approval of a bid exemption pursuant to Modoc County Code Section 3.24.060 (B) (3) due to the utilization of Sourcewell Contract No. 120122-MBS and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a System Order Agreement between the County of Modoc and Gaynor Telesystems, Inc. for the replacement of a legacy phone system within multiple county offices, not to exceed $62,296.51 of project costs and $661.54 monthly costs for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) services, effective July 28, 2026.
7. Requesting approval of a bid exemption pursuant to Modoc County Code Section 3.24.060 (B) (3) due to the utilization of Sourcewell Contract No. 022719-MBS and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a System Order Agreement between the County of Modoc and Gaynor Telesystems, Inc. for the replacement of a legacy phone system within the Sheriff's Office, not to exceed $22,412.91, effective July 28, 2026.
8. Requesting approval of a Resolution delegating authority to execute the payroll transition loan agreement and administer the payroll transition loan program.
9. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the City of Alturas for access, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Pit River and the North Fork of Pit River stream gauges.
10. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign an amendment via DocuSign to an agreement between the County of Modoc and the Regents of the University of California for technical assistance in completing the California-Child and Family Services Review (C-CFSR), not to exceed $49,000.00, effective May 1, 2024 through December 31, 2026.
11. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign agreement #IGT-25-0070 between the County of Modoc and the Department of Health Care Services for intergovernmental transfer of public funds, effective January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028.
12. Requesting approval and authorization for the Chair of the Board to sign an agreement between the County of Modoc and Language Line Services, Inc. for translation services, as an on-demand, as-needed service, the amount for service is .97 cents/minute, effective July 21, 2026, until terminated.
13. Requesting approval to award the bid and authorize the purchase of one (1) 2026 GMC Yukon from Taylor Motors, in the amount of $79,951.39.
14. Requesting approval to award the bid and authorize the purchase of one (1) 2026 GMC Acadia from Taylor Motors, in the amount of $50,907.31.
15. Requesting approval of a bid exemption pursuant to Modoc County Code Section 3.24.060 (B) (3), to purchase one (1) 2022 Ford F-150 Police Responder for the Modoc County Sheriff's Office Patrol Unit, not to exceed $41,404.25.
