SUBJECT: Reconsideration of the District 2 Appointment to the Planning Commission REPORT IN BRIEF Considers a motion to reconsider the City Council’s July 6, 2026 appointment to the District 2 seat on the Planning Commission. If the motion to reconsider is approved, the City Council may consider nominations and appoint an individual to fill the vacancy. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Reconsidering the July 6, 2026 appointment to the District 2 Planning Commission pursuant to Resolution No. 2024-65; and If the motion to reconsider is approved: B. Nominating and appointing an individual to the District 2 Planning Commission seat.
