SUBJECT: Second Reading and Final Adoption of an Ordinance Amending Chapter 10.20.190 “Warrants - Stop Signs” of the Merced Municipal Code to Update Language to Reflect the Dissolution of the Traffic Committee REPORT IN BRIEF Second reading and final adoption of an Ordinance amending Chapter 10.20.190 - “Warrants - Stop Signs” of the Merced Municipal Code by removing the existing language of “traffic committee” and replacing the wording with “city engineer or his/her designee” to align with restructuring. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion adopting Ordinance 2589, an Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Merced, California, Amending Chapter 10.20.190 “Warrants - Stop Signs”.
