SUBJECT: Proposed City Council Administrative Policy and Procedure C-8, City Council Committees and Appointments to Regional Organizations and Joint Powers Authorities REPORT IN BRIEF City officials and City staff have, after receiving Council input at direction at both the October 20, 2025 and December 1, 2025 City Council meetings, drafted a proposed City Council Administrative Policy and Procedure C-8 (“Policy C-8”) for City Council Committees and Appointments to Regional Organizations and Joint Powers Authorities for consideration and adoption by the City Council. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Approving and adopting City Council Administrative Policy and Procedure C-8, City Council Committees and Appointments to Regional Organizations and Joint Powers Authorities; and, B. Authorizing the Staff to present a Resolution for future Council Consideration adopting the various City Council committees in accordance with Policy C-8.
