SUBJECT: Approving an Amended Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between the City of Merced and the Merced Union High School District and Rescinding Prior Council Action Approving the Previous Memorandum of Understanding, for Fiscal Years 2025-2028 REPORT IN BRIEF Considers approving new terms and rescinding previously approved 3-year MOU between the City of Merced and the Merced Union High School District. The Merced Union High School District has requested a change in the language regarding the purchase of a new police vehicle to a vehicle use fee. RECOMMENDATION City Council - Adopt a motion: A. Approving an amended Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Merced and the Merced Union High School District, and rescinding prior Council action approving the previous Memorandum of Understanding, for Fiscal Years 2025-2028; and, B. Authorizing the City Manager to execute the necessary documents.
