SUBJECT: REQUEST #25-16 Requesting Traffic Calming Measures at 2150 S Street - Fremont Elementary School. REPORT IN BRIEF Sergeant McKinnon recommends and requests traffic calming measures at Fremont Elementary School such as extending the green curb northerly on S Street for drop off and pick up of students. In addition, he requests painting the crosswalk on W 21st Street at R Street and installing “No Pedestrian Crossing” signage along R Street. Adding these signs and painting the crosswalk would direct students to cross at either the W 20th Street or W 22nd Street traffic lights along R Street.
