Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $4,650 offset by the Sixth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department, to provide contributions of: · $450 to Long Beach Camerata Singers to support an Opening Night Gala: Save the Magic on Thursday, September 21, 2023; · $400 to Food Chain Workers Alliance, Inc. to support their Black Job Fair on Saturday, September 16, 2023; · $3,500 to Cambodia Town Inc. to support the re-establishment of Long Beach Khmer Kickboxing; · $300 to Long Beach Forward to support their Welcome Back to School Celebration on Wednesday, August 30, 2023; and Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $4,650 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department.
