Recommendation to increase appropriations in the General Fund Group in the City Manager Department by $1,300 offset by the Sixth Council District One-time District Priority Funds transferred from the Citywide Activities Department, to provide contributions of: · $925 to Long Beach Forward to support their Conscious Cinema: Film and Dialogue event on September 16, 2023; · $375 to Hands of New Hope to support the Backpack Giveaway held on August 19, 2023; Decrease appropriations in the General Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $1,300 to offset a transfer to the City Manager Department; and Restate the recommendation approved by City Council on December 6, 2022, to correct the name of the recipient receiving the $500 donation of Sixth Council District One-time District Priority Funds from Long Beach Residents Empowered to Social and Environmental Entrepreneurs, and $500 from AOC7 to Partners of Parks.
