Recommendation to authorize the General Manager to implement a one-time enhancement to the City of Long Beach’s (City) ongoing Utility Payment Assistance programs to include a one-time Residential Gas Assistance Credit of $100, per account, as long as funds remain available, applicable in cases where the account holder certifies under penalty of perjury that they are experiencing financial hardship and given normal expenses need assistance paying their gas utility bill.
