Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to amend Contract No. 34895 with LAZ Parking California, LLC, of Los Angeles, CA, for citywide parking operations and management services, to increase the contract amount by $7,850,300, with a 20 percent contingency in the amount of $1,570,060, for a revised contract amount not to exceed $33,388,503, and extend the term of the contract to December 30, 2023; Increase appropriations in the Tidelands Area Fund Group in the Public Works Department by $400,000 for parking repairs and upgrades to Queen Mary Hotel parking lots to facilitate reopening, offset by a transfer from the Tidelands Operating Fund Group; and Increase appropriations in the Tidelands Operating Fund Group in the Citywide Activities Department by $400,000 to transfer to the Tidelands Area Fund Group, offset by anticipated FY 22 Tidelands Operating surplus to be reserved for this purpose.
