LETTER OF SUPPORT-BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT(BLM) APPLEGATE FIELD OFFICE WILDFIRE PREVENTION GRANT APPLICATION-BIG VALLEY WILDFIRE RESILIENCE PHASE 1 PROJECT SUBJECT: A letter of support for the BLM Applegate Field Office's Wildfire Prevention Grant application for the Big Valley Wildfire Resilience Phase 1 Project. The project proposes hazardous fuels reduction and vegetation management in northwestern Lassen County to reduce wildfire risk, improve community resilience, enhance evacuation safety, and complement ongoing wildfire mitigation efforts among federal, state, and local partners. FISCAL IMPACT: None. ACTION REQUESTED: 1) Approve letter of support; and 2) authorize the Chairman to execute.
