DRUG RECOGNITION EXPERT TRAINING SUBJECT: Training request for three (3) Deputy Sheriff’s to attend Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) school at the Rocklin Police Department hosted by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) from February 23, 2026, through March 5, 2026. FISCAL IMPACT: No Fiscal Impact to the General Fund. Funding for training will be allocated from the CHP Cannabis Grant Fund/Budget Unit No. 130-522 and shall not exceed the allotted amount of $27,945.60. ACTION REQUESTED: Approve the training expenditures for DRE.
