Recommended Action: It is recommended that the Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District receive and file this report regarding the calendar year 2024 purchase of 65 acre-feet and 10 acre-feet of permanent Base Annual Production water rights in the Alto Subarea from Donna Polich and Paula McKinney respectively, as well as the transfer of Carryover rights from the same. 21-867

Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2024-60 approving Final Map No. 18989-2 being a subdivision of the remainder parcels and lots “A” through “C”, inclusive of Tract Map 18989-1, creating 3 numbered lots and 4 lettered lots of the Tapestry Specific Plan. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Big Ben Inc. for the replacement of water service lines in the not-to-exceed amount of $1,782,000, which includes a 10% contingency. 21-881

Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with H L Hitchcock Construction to repair or replace sidewalks in twenty-five (25) locations city-wide for a not-to-exceed amount of $182,061, which includes a 10% contingency. 21-882

Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Creative Home/DBA:CHI Construction for the Manhole Repair - Lid Replacement project, for the bid amount of $1,312,500, plus a 10% contingency for a not-to-exceed total of $1,443,750. 21-888

Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Best Contracting Services, Inc. to repair or replace roofing at four Plant locations in the amount of $287,243 which includes a 10% contingency. 21-889
  35. 15. Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council and Board of Directors of the Hesperia Water District 1) award a construction contract for the Tank Coatings - Plant 23-R23/1, Plant 21-R21/1, Plant 22-R22/2 project to the responsive and responsible bidder, Polytech Industrial Incorporated., for the bid amount of $2,790,660, add Alternate A for the amount of $20,000, plus a 10% contingency for a not-to-exceed total of $3,091,726; 2) approve the project as represented by the specifications; and 3) authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the contract and any other necessary documents related to the project. 21-883
