Recommended Action: It is recommended that the City Council approve and authorize the City Manager or designee to execute an amendment to the contract with Sully Miller Contracting Co. (SMCC) for $6,232,244, plus a 10% contingency of $623,224 for a revised not-to-exceed contract amount of $48,562,661 for the construction of the Ranchero Road Corridor Widening Project, Phase III. Additionally, it is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution 2024-50 appropriating $6,855,468 ($6,232,244 contract amendment and $623,224 contingency).
