  2. Continuation Request for Annexation167: a request to annex approximately 16.65 acres into the City of Hanford City Limits from the Kings County Jurisdiction. The annexation area is a combination of the Project Site (13.44 acres) and an area to the southeast, not proposed to be developed at this time (2.77 acres). Prezone No. 0016-26: a request to prezone the properties as a R-L-5 Low-Density Residential (5.08 acres) and R-M Medium-Density Residential (8.38 acres), consistent with the General Plan Designation. Tentative Subdivision Map 00023-26 (952): a request to subdivide 13.44 acres of the annexation area into 74 single-family residential lots. Mitigated Negative Declaration No. 2026-73, a request to certify the ISMND for the project, verifying the project would not have a significant effect on the environment with the incorporation of mitigation measures. Location: The Project site is located south of Lacey Boulevard, west of 12 ½ Avenue (Aquifer Drive) APNs 011-010-003, -004, -005, -006, -007, -008 and -009. Staff requests continuation of the public hearing for the item to September 8, 2026.
  3. Conditional Use Permit No. 0071-26: a request, by Embarc Hanford, to permit a Cannabis Business to operate a storefront dispensary for retail of cannabis products at 610 W. Seventh St. in the MX-D Downtown Mixed Use zone district (APN 012-061-007).
  4. Conditional Use Permit No. 0070-26: a request by Sensory Rock to amend Conditional Use Permit No. <span style='font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'>2018-08, <span style='font-size:15px;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;'>to allow the construction of a new outdoor play area</span></span> at 240 N. Irwin St. in the MX-D Downtown Mixed Use zone district (APN 012-052-004).
