The Commission on Aging will create an ad hoc committee and assign Commissioners to discuss the Board of Supervisors Item #19 from the April 28, 2026 Board of Supervisors meeting and gather information from the Health & Human Services Agency. This committee will focus on 2027/2028 budget items, monitor existing Older Adult Services programs, and determine the next steps for advocacy and mitigation of proposed budget cuts.
