Facilities, a division of the Chief Administrative Office, recommending the Board: 1) Make findings that it is appropriate to engage an independent contractor to provide Architectural and Engineering Services, as Agreement for Services 10374 requires specialty skills and qualifications not expressly identified in County classifications, in accordance with County ordinance code 3.13.030; 2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to sign competitively procured Agreement for Services 10374 with Lionakis for a term of one year from the Notice to Proceed in the amount of $128,455 to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for the Tenant Improvement of the El Dorado County Main Jail Booking Project; and 3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute any necessary amendments relating to the Agreement, excluding term extensions and increases to compensation, contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management. FUNDING: Accumulative Capital Outlay, Custody Services Special Revenue Fund and CalAIM PATH funding.
