The Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) Committee to present a process to utilize a portion of the fund balance held by the El Dorado Community Foundation for urgent or emergent needs of veterans and their families in the community. Veterans Affairs Commission to review and approve a process to address urgent or emergent needs of veterans through use of fund balance held by the El Dorado Community Foundation. Commissioner Mullens-Becker presented an application for One Time Veteran Assistance Funding through the El Dorado Community Foundation (EDCF) for veteran organizations, along with a supplemental reporting document. Mullens-Becker worked with EDCF to develop a process to distribute the blance of TOT funds currently held by EDCF to organizations serving veterans in need.
