Facilities, a division of the Chief Administrative Office, recommending the Board: 1) Make findings pursuant to Section 3.13.030 (B) of the El Dorado County Ordinance Chapter 3.13, Contracting Out, that specialty skills and qualifications not expressly identified in County classifications are involved in the performance of geotechnical engineering consultation, construction observation, material testing, and special inspection work; and 2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute Amendment I to competitively bid Agreement 8380 with Youngdahl Consulting Group, Inc., for ongoing geotechnical engineering consultation, construction observation, material testing, and special inspection services related to the Placerville Jail Expansion Project extending the term from February 27, 2027, to May 19, 2027, and increasing the total compensation amount by $53,127 for a revised total not to exceed $283,000. FUNDING: Project contingency funds included in the Placerville Jail Expansion Project budget - General Fund Capital Designation.
