Chief Administrative Office recommending the Board: 1) Receive an update on the County's Strategic Planning efforts; 2) Review and direct staff, as necessary, to modify the current Vision Statement, Mission Statement, and Core Values; 3) Review and direct staff, as necessary, to modify the current five Strategic Plan focus areas of Safe and Healthy Communities, Public Infrastructure, Thriving Economy, Workforce Excellence, and Strategic Innovation; and 4) Direct all Department Heads to participate in an update to the Strategic Plan priorities and action items and return to the Board in the Fall of 2026 with recommendations for new or amended priorities and action items.
