Auditor-Controller's Office recommending the Board approve and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 081-2026 that will authorize the Auditor-Controller to reissue stale-dated checks: 1) In any amount, if presented within two years from the date on which the original check became void; and 2) In amounts up to $10,000, if presented more than two years from the date on which the original check became void, when the Auditor-Controller determines that it would be inequitable or unreasonable not to reissue the stale dated check.
