Department of Transportation recommending the Board: 1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Notice of Acceptance with Doug Veerkamp General Engineering Inc., for the Pollock Pines - Pony Express Trail Bicycle, Pedestrian, and ADA Improvements Project, Contract 7451, CIP 97019/36109010; and 2) Approve and authorize the Clerk of the Board to release the Payment and Performance Bonds to the Surety upon notification from the Department of Transportation, after the one-year guarantee period. (District 5) FUNDING: Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Program (29.9%), Active Transportation Program (28.2%), Regional Surface Transportation Program Federal Funds - Caltrans Local Assistance (17.3%), Tribe Funds (8.4%), Transportation Development Act (7.3%), and Road Fund (8.9%).
