Human Resources Department recommending the Board: 1) Adopt and authorize the Chair to sign Resolution 047-2025 to approve, due to an upward reclassification, the deletion of 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) Office Assistant I/II allocation and the addition of 1.0 FTE Administrative Technician within the Agriculture Weights and Measures Department; and 2) Waive the requirement for filling the Administrative Technician position through a competitive examination process, allowing the Office Assistant II incumbent to be appointed to the Administrative Technician position as provided for in Section 507.1.2 of the Personnel Rules. FUNDING: General Fund.
