Veteran Affairs Commission to discuss and decide on goals for the Veteran Affairs Commission to accomplish for the 2025 year. Commissioner Reynolds asked the Veteran Affairs Commission (VAC) about the goals they wanted to achieve for the year 2025. Reynolds stated that he would like to continue utilizing excess funds from the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), invite more guest speakers from organizations receiving TOT grants, have guest speakers from veteran-owned businesses in El Dorado County, and explore opportunities to expand education and employment for veterans. Commissioner Fischer added that he would like the VAC to place greater emphasis on the Stand Down event.
