Donna Eckwortzel, the Founder and Executive Director of Hearts Landing Ranch, along with Kaleb Boas, therapist from the Citrus Heights Vet Center, discussed their involvement with the veteran community. Eckwortzel and Boas highlighted the unique and impactful ways they utilize horses as therapeutic tools to promote mental health and emotional well-being among veterans. Through their collaborative efforts, they aim to address and alleviate the mental health challenges faced by many veterans, fostering a sense of healing and connection through equine-assisted therapy.
