Parks, a division of the Chief Administrative Office, recommending the Board: 1) Make findings pursuant to Section 3.13.030 (B) and Section 3.13.030 (C) of the El Dorado County Ordinance, that planning, landscape architecture, and engineering services for the Diamond Springs Community Park project requires specialty skills and qualifications not expressly identified in County classifications and the work is temporary in nature and therefore does not warrant the addition of permanent staff; 2) Approve and authorize the Board Chair to sign Agreement 9120 with Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., a firm on the County’s Request for Qualifications 20-918-043 list of qualified firms, to provide planning and engineering services for the development of the Diamond Springs Community Park, for a three-year term and a compensation amount not to exceed $558,700; and 3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute any further documents determined necessary related to Agreement 9120, including amendments which do not increase the amount or term of the Agreement, contingent upon approval by County Counsel and Risk Management. FUNDING: Discretionary Transient Occupancy Tax.
