Department of Transportation recommending the Board: 1) Award Bid 24-0054 for the purchase of Plant Mix Asphalt Concrete for the East Slope of El Dorado County to the sole qualified bidder, Tahoe Asphalt, Inc. of South Lake Tahoe, CA; 2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase contract in the amount of $900,000 ($300,000/year) for a thirty-six (36-month) month term following Board approval; and 3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to increase the purchase contract on an "as needed" basis during the awarded period as long as funding is available within the requesting department's budget.
