Department of Transportation recommending the Board: 1) Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the First Amendment to competitively bid Agreement 8283 with Bear Electrical Solutions, Inc. to provide Countywide routine and on-call emergency signal maintenance on an as-needed basis, amending Exhibit B, List of County Maintained Signals, with no change to term or not-to-exceed amount; and 2) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to increase the contract amount and sign any additional amendments to the agreement for on-call traffic signal maintenance services on an "as-needed" basis during the term of the agreement as long as funding is available within Transportation's budget, and contingent upon approval by County Counsel. FUNDING: Road Fund (100%).
