Veterans Service Officer Brown reported the office filled the Veterans Service Representative (VSR) open position. Brown also reported on Senate Bill 1124, which aims to protect Veterans from predatory practices by addressing the issue of "claim sharks". Next, Brown reported that the Veterans Service Office is very busy with an increase in phone calls, appointments, and walk-ins. Lastly, Brown reported VSR Tisha Holy is still providing services to veterans in the South Lake Tahoe area twice a month.
