1. Convene into an executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) and (A)(4) to receive legal advice and discuss and consult with the City Attorney regarding a contract that is the subject of negotiations relating to joint use of school facilities and funding.
2. Adopt/Deny Resolution No. 2616 of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Tolleson, Arizona, authorizing the acquisition of real property near the northwest corner of 83rd Avenue and Buckeye Road in the City, APN 101-11-989, for development purposes; authorizing and directing the Mayor, City Manager, City Engineer, and City Attorney to acquire title to that certain parcel of real property on behalf of the City by donation, eminent domain, or purchase in the amount of $3,403,539, plus acquisition and closing costs; and authorizing a budget transfer in the amount of $3.4M from the Federal Grants fund (31310106) to Capital – Development Services (10515906). 3. Approve First Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and WACO, LLC, for emergency pipeline repair services, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Agreement. The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to increase the annual aggregate amount from $100,000 to $200,000 for additional equipment and services. (Utilities Department)
4. Approve Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Adaptive Architects, Inc. for professional services related to architectural design services for the Tolleson Aquatic Center, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Agreement. The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to establish a new annual aggregate amount of $182,300 for additional services and to extend the term of the Agreement from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026. 5. Approve Third Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Shamrock Foods Company for food, fresh product and related cafeteria supplies, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Agreement. The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to increase the annual aggregate amount from $133,000 to $177,500 for additional products and to extend the term of the Agreement from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026. 6. Proclamation honoring Alejandro Salazar, Teen Council Mayor, for his outstanding leadership and for receiving the College Board National Recognition Program’s First-Generation Recognition Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
