1. Adopt Resolution No. 2618 of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Tolleson, Arizona, approving the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Tolleson and the City of Avondale for detention, administrative, and transportation services, and authorizing the Mayor to execute the Agreement. The City shall pay Avondale the cost of one full-time Detention Facility Officer for the Initial Term and for each subsequent Renewal Term. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until June 30, 2026. After the expiration of the Initial Term, this Agreement shall automatically renew for up to four successive one-year terms. 2. Adopt/Deny Resolution No. 2617 of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Tolleson, Arizona, approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Tolleson Elementary School District No. 17 for the funding and operation of the District Preschool Program and the City’s use of District facilities for after-school programs, youth sports, and special events, and authorizing the City Manager to execute said agreement. The Agreement provides for a total City contribution of $400,000 to fund the Preschool Program during the 2025-2026 school year, commencing July 1, 2025, and expiring June 30, 2026, with the possibility of renewal upon mutual agreement of the Parties.(City Management and Parks & Recreation Departments)
3. Convene into an executive session pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) and (A)(4) to receive legal advice and discuss and consult with the City Attorney regarding a contract that is the subject of negotiations relating to a nonprofit organization.
