1. Approve First Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Advanced Security Technologies LLC for the purchase of security equipment and related services, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Agreement. The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to increase the annual aggregate amount from $200,000 to $300,000 for additional materials and services. (Emergency Preparedness Department)
2. Approve the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Duke’s Root Control, Inc. for sewer system maintenance, inspection and repair services, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Agreement. The City shall pay the Contractor an annual aggregate amount not to exceed $250,000 for services. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until December 21, 2028. (Utilities Department)
3. Approve the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Pump Pros International Corporation for water pumps purchase, maintenance and repairs, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Agreement. The City shall pay the Contractor an annual aggregate amount not to exceed $500,000 for equipment and services. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect until December 11, 2027. 4. Approve the First Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Arizona Commercial Diving Services, Inc. for underwater repairs, parts, and services, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Amendment. The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to increase the annual aggregate amount from $100,000 to $200,000 for additional services. (Utilities Department)
5. Approve the First Amendment to the Cooperative Purchasing Agreement between the City of Tolleson and Western Environmental Equipment Co. for custom and standard flow and level meters and other related services, and authorize the City Manager to execute and deliver said Amendment. The City desires to amend the existing Agreement to increase the annual aggregate amount from $100,000 to $200,000 for additional services. (Utilities Department)
6. Adopt/Deny Resolution No. 2639 of the Mayor and Council of the City of Tolleson, Arizona, authorizing the acquisition of real property and a temporary construction easement from the Tolleson Union High School District No. 214, located near 96th Avenue and Van Buren Street, for public purposes necessary for the construction of a pedestrian bridge across Van Buren Street; authorizing and directing the Mayor, City Manager and City Attorney to acquire title to said parcel of real property and acquire the temporary construction easement on behalf of the City by donation, eminent domain or purchase for an amount not to exceed fair market value of the property, plus acquisition and closing costs; and to take all acts necessary to acquire the real property and easement; and declaring an emergency. 7. Approve amendment to the City of Tolleson Employee Handbook by adopting new Policy 603.9.3 – Weighted Average Overtime to ensure compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requirements and to establish a consistent method for calculating overtime when employees work at multiple rates of pay within the same workweek.
