PONTATOC ROAD REZONING James Frederick Reed, represented by Demion Clinco of the Tucson Historic Preservation Foundation, requests a rezoning of approximately 0.93 acres from the CR-1 (Single Residence) zone to the CR-1 (HL) (Single Residence - Historic Landmark) zone, on property located on the west side of N. Pontatoc Road, approximately 115 feet north of the intersection of N. Pontatoc Road and E. Saranac Drive, addressed as 4239 N. Pontatoc Road. The proposed rezoning conforms to the Pima County Comprehensive Plan which designates the property for Low Intensity Urban 1.2. On motion, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 6 - 0 (Commissioners Cook, Gungle, Becker and Maese were absent) to recommend APPROVAL SUBJECT TO STANDARD AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS. Staff recommends APPROVAL SUBJECT TO STANDARD AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS. (District 1)
