Maintaining Adult Basic Education Funding in Pima County Adult Detention Center Discussion/Direction/Action regarding the continuation of Adult Basic Education services at the Pima County Adult Detention Complex through an agreement with Pima Community College, including a base program maintaining existing Adult Basic Education services at a cost of $170,000.00 through June 30, 2027, and consideration of additional program options to expand GED preparation capacity, provide employability skills instruction, and address other educational needs identified through a collaboration between the Pima County Sheriff’s Department and Pima Community College; and approval of funding, from a source to be identified at the discretion of the County Administrator, and direction to proceed with the program option selected by the Board.
