Federal and State Legislative Agenda - Passenger Rail Discussion/Direction/Action directing the County’s lobbyists to explore the feasibility and viability of accelerating the development of Passenger Rail between Phoenix, Tucson and Nogales, Sonora. This is related to Mexico's national “Plan 2030” to create high-speed passenger rail across the nation, including from Mexico City to Nogales, Sonora, and our region’s ability to tap into this major infrastructure investment to create greater binational connectivity, commerce and economic development.
