The estimated project costs are $61,315,900 with the City of Mesa’s portion at $22,386,364 (36.51%), Town of Gilbert at $21,190,441 (34.56%), and Maricopa County at $17,739,095 (28.93%). Under the current funding schedule, Maricopa County’s initial construction payment will not be available before July 1, 2031, construction is therefore currently not anticipated until Fiscal Year 2032.
