A resolution extending Falcon Field Airport’s landing fee implementation date. The recently adopted landing fees are currently the subject of litigation in federal court as well as a review by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The FAA has also asked the City to delay implementation of the landing fees. The City retained Anderson & Kreiger LLP, a nationally recognized law firm specializing in airport matters, to represent the City in the lawsuit and to respond to the FAA. Anderson & Kreiger LLP is currently conducting a comprehensive review of the landing fees and has requested that the landing fee implementation date be extended beyond July 30, 2026, to allow time to complete their review.
