Sunshine Liquor A convenience store is requesting the ownership transfer of a Series 9 Liquor Store License for Sunshine Liquor & Petroleum LLC, 753 West Broadway Road - Tajinder Singh, Agent. The existing Series 9 Liquor Store License held by GJ Liquors LLC will revert to the State for modification. (District 4) Staff Denial Recommendation: The applicant has not obtained all necessary licenses and permits for which the applicant is liable at the time of the liquor license application. The applicant also has outstanding fees related to regulating the sale of alcoholic beverages as set forth in the City’s schedule of fees and charges. Finally, the applicant has zoning issues that must be resolved with Mesa Development Services before a legal nonconforming use of the proposed business location can be resumed.
