Dollar Limit Increase to the Cooperative Term Contract for Water Reclamation Facility Laboratory Supplies for the Water Resources Department (Citywide) The Water Resources Department utilizes the City of Goodyear contract to procure laboratory consumables, supplies and equipment for the Water Resources Department Compliance Laboratory as well as the City’s Water Treatment and Reclamation Plants. These consumables are essential for accurate water-quality testing, maintaining regulatory compliance, protecting public health, and ensuring that water systems remain safe and reliable. A dollar limit increase is needed to ensure the department can continue purchasing necessary laboratory supplies while the City conducts a solicitation for our own contract. The Water Resources Department and Procurement Services recommend increasing the dollar limit with USA Bluebook by $62,247.84, from $97,752.16 to $160,000 annually, with an annual increase allowance of up to 5% or the adjusted Consumer Price Index.
