Approving and authorizing the City Manager to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the City of Scottsdale to provide mutual back-up ambulance services. This IGA will allow City of Mesa Fire and Medical Department and City of Scottsdale to provide back-up ambulance services for each other across their Certificate of Necessity boundaries upon request, when additional ambulances are needed and resources are available.
