Los Agaves Distributors LLC A liquor distributor is requesting a new Series 4 Wholesaler License for Los Agaves Distributors LLC, 1533 North Alma School Road Suite 10 - Miguel Ival Munoz, Agent. There is no existing license at this location. (District 3) Recommendation for Denial: Mesa City Staff recommend the City Council enter an order recommending disapproval of the liquor license application because public convenience and the best interests of the community will not be substantially served by issuing the license. The applicant did not obtain all necessary licenses, permits, and inspections for which the applicant was liable at the time of the liquor license application. Specifically, the applicant has not obtained the following: (i) Fire Safety Operational Permit and inspection as required by Mesa City Code Title 7, Chapter 1, (ii) General Business License, as required by Mesa City Code Title 5, Chapter 5, and (iii) an Arizona Transaction Privilege Sales & Use Tax License as required by Mesa City Code Title 5, Chapter 10. Additionally, the applicant’s proposed business is not compatible with other activity in the area, which is a light commercial district. The applicant also failed to amend their liquor license application to reflect the correct physical location where their business will be operating.
