The City Council shall discuss and take action to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Chandler for the purpose of the Maricopa Fire/Medical Department (MFMD) to participate in Fire Service trainings hosted by the Chandler Fire Department. The Maricopa Fire/Medical Department wishes to enter into this IGA to improve its capabilities thereby directly advancing the City of Maricopa's interest in protecting the health, safety and welfare of its citizens.
