Council will be briefed and asked to provide comments on “Smart City” components, initiatives and strategies that may have the potential to benefit the residents and businesses of Goodyear. Examples might include incentives for a fiber optic backbone, enhanced cellular coverage, electric vehicle charging stations, artificial intelligence assisted traffic control and parking, innovation seed money, enhanced emergency response, economic development and construction services mobile initiatives, and geospatial and business analytics.
