RESOLUTION PRESCRIBING STANDARDS OF FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE FOR LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 16-1774, REPLACING RESOLUTION NO. 83-211, PRESCRIBING STANDARDS OF FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE FOR LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALS. PURPOSE: According to the provisions of Arizona Revised Statutes Section 38-545, as amended, the city of Goodyear is required to adopt standards of financial disclosure consistent with the provisions of Title 38, Chapter 3.1, Article 1. During the 2016 legislative session, House Bill (HB) 2429 amended the Financial Disclosure Statement that is required for candidates and public officials. As a result, Council is being asked to pass a resolution adopting those changes. (Maureen Scott, City Clerk)
