APPOINTMENT TO THE YOUTH COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: 1. Appoint Perebotie Amughan as a member of the Youth Commission to serve until May 31, 2017. 2. City Clerk will administer the Oath of Loyalty. PURPOSE: It was realized that there were only eight members on the Youth Commission and, per the by-laws, nine members are required. The Council Subcommittee for Boards, Commissions and Committees met to review Ms. Amughan’s application that she submitted. The Council Subcommittee interviewed Ms. Amughan on November 10, 2016. The Council Subcommittee is recommending her appointment to the Youth Commission to fulfill the remainder of the FY2017 school year. (Lauren Valencia, Assistant to the Mayor)
