AMEND THE CITY OF GOODYEAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS RULE OF PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATION: ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 16-1773 AMENDING AND ADOPTING THE CITY OF GOODYEAR, ARIZONA CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS RULES OF PROCEDURE PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION 00-740, AMENDING SECTION 6.11 RELATING TO INFORMATION ITEMS LISTED ON THE REGULAR MEETING AGENDA. PURPOSE: The City Charter gives the Council authority to have rules and procedures in place for governing the procedure of council meetings. At the October 21, 2016 City Council Retreat, Council discussed the possibility of having an information item added to meeting agendas where they could request to add an item to future meeting agendas for discussion and consideration.
