BUDGET TRANSFER FOR BULLETPROOF VEST PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM GRANT RECOMMENDATION: Accept grant funds awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice Bulletproof Vest Partnership (BVP) program to the Goodyear Police Department and authorize a budget transfer in the amount of $24,853.92. PURPOSE: The sole purpose of the BVP grant is to protect the lives of sworn law enforcement officers by providing reimbursement for the purchase of bullet-resistant vests.
