APPROVE THE USE OF BUDGETED FY17 FLEET FUNDS RECOMMENDATION: Approve expenditures in the General Fund and Water and Wastewater Enterprise Funds for the purchase of vehicles from Midway Chevrolet and Courtesy Chevrolet. PURPOSE: The Fleet Replacement Program identifies 24 General Motors model vehicles to be replaced in FY17. This plan includes 12 vehicles in the General Fund, 4 vehicles in the Water Enterprise Fund and 8 vehicles in the Wastewater Enterprise Fund. In addition, there are 10 new General Motors vehicles approved in FY17 budget associated with new authorized positions, most of which will support the new police officers.
