GRANT-IN-AID AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOHONO O’ODHAM NATION AND THE CITY OF GOODYEAR ON BEHALF OF THE SOUTHWEST LENDING CLOSET RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the City Manager to execute a Grant-in-Aid Agreement between the Tohono O’odham Nation, the city of Goodyear and the Southwest Lending Closet to pass through a grant award for $4,048.50 to the Southwest Lending Closet from the Tohono O’odham Nation and authorize a FY17 budget transfer. PURPOSE: The Southwest Lending Closet (The Closet) submitted a grant application to the Tohono O’odham Nation in June 2016 requesting $4,048.50 to add 30 knee scooters to their equipment inventory. In September 2016, The Closet was notified their application was approved, conditional upon development of a Grant-in-Aid agreement between the Tohono O’odham Nation, a local government entity and their organization.
