MOU WITH THE FIREHOUSE SUBS PUBLIC SAFETY FOUNDATION TO ACCEPT GRANT FUNDS RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to accept $4,284.34 in grant funds and authorize the City Manager to execute all related documents and necessary budget transfers related to this grant. PURPOSE: The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation provides grants to public safety organizations. With approval of the grant funds we will purchase fire prevention education materials. Since 1994 the Community Risk Reduction Division has taught life and fire safety in the community. The purchase of materials will serve to reinforce important life safety messages to keep the community safe. (Tanja Tanner, Community Risk Reduction Coordinator)
